Comic-Con Weekend

July 22 - 25th San Diego is over run by thousands and thousands of comic, movie, and video game enthusiasts. Around 150,000 people attend San Diego Comic Con for a chance to meet there favorite stars, check out the latest movies and TV shows, as well as try out new exciting games. The name of the convention is misleading to those who have never attended. The convention does not only cater to Comics, it caters to people who love entertainment and popular culture. The vast diversity of SDCC-goers is mind blowing, and goes to show that the convention has something to offer everyone who enjoys the simple things in life.

This was my 2nd year at Comic-Con and it was better than the last. I attended a few amazing panels, including Dexter, Penn & Teller, Sons of Anarchy, It's Always Sunny in Philadelphia, Showtime Anti-Hero Panel, and a few smaller ones. Dexter, SAMCRO, and IASIP were among my favorites. The panels are meant to show teaser footage of upcoming season and give a chance for the fans to ask questions to the cast and writers of the TV show. It's really an experience only comic-con goers can experience.

The convention show is where hundreds of artists, actors, and various vendors set up and display there forte in popular culture..Whether its paintings, sculptures, comic books, short films, or action figures, it’s a giant bazaar for nerds.

I will be attending San Diego Comic Con 2011!

Here is the trailer for the new season of DEXTER that premiered at Comic Con!
